Nita B. Casimiro graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She was elected into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.She went on to work on a medical/surgical/cardiac stepdown unit at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for six years during which time she earned her certification as a Cardiac Vascular Nurse. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University and became a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with training specific to primary care and internal medicine. She completed clinical training with Leonia Medical Associates where she now practices. As a Nurse Practitioner, Nita strives to provide comprehensive, holistic health care for adult patients and works closely with the physicians in the group. She has a special interest in cardiovascular health and preventative medicine.
